When I start the engine it is ok, but when I give it gas, it goes up and down on its own. You may need to remove the cylinder head and have a machine ship repair it. Check the engine harness for sign of being pinched or routed incorrectly. Then you get much better access to the back of the manifold, especially that last nut. Step up to the plate and take a swing at a 7 series, e65 or e66. Lost a little down low compared to the stock intake but gained tons up top 44hp diff at 7k over the stock intake. I cleaned the vents a week ago at the shop where they blew the soapy water in to the vents before the cabin filter and after the cabin filter. Was dreading the intake removal, but in all honesty it only took just over an hour the first time. No vacuum leaks, no check engine lights. You can clean it, that may work for a while, but it'll likely need replacement eventually. Your engine does the same thing.

You can run source vacuum to each component that requires steady vacuum. It draws in air through your intake manifold. It's too bad that it's not visible once installed, but it's there for piece of mind. I cannot get a socket on the bolt. I have everything undone except the fuel injectors and the fuel rail. Plzz anyone know where these lines go? Could I have caused liquid damage because it is an electrical part? I guess this means the swap is a no-go for me or at least would offer no gains is this right?
