There is a tab on the gas tank skidplate that bolted to the carrier bearing bracket that needs to go also. Filed complaint with Ford to no avail. Taking it off will not hurt anything, but you will hear more transmission gear rattle. Dealer refuses to listen to issue. I am glad its taken care of.
